Accommodation
Participants of the conference should make travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance of the conference date. A wide variety of hotels are reachable on foot within a 10-15 min. radius of both conference venues (Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and Seminário de Vilar).
Below is a map with the conference venues as well as some of the suggested hotels in the area.
Hotels with special rates for conference participants (if booked by April 30, 2015)
UPDATE: as of April 6th all of the following 4 hotels are fully booked, except for Hotel HF Ipanema Park (*****), which still has 15 Single/Twin (Executive) rooms at the rate of 71,00€/night.
The organizing committee has selected a number of conveniently located hotels and has secured special rates for conference participants and their travel companions, provided the reservations are made by April 30, 2015. Seminário de Vilar — fully booked
There are a limited number of budget rooms available at Seminário de Vilar, the venue where the plenary sessions will take place. The organizing committee has secured 50 rooms until January 31, 2015 at the following rates:
- Single room with breakfast: 25,00€/day;
- Twin room with breakfast: 38,00€/day — if you prefer a twin room, upon reservation be sure to indicate the name of the other guest or state clearly that you are willing to share the room with any conference participant.
All rooms have private bath, TV and wireless internet. Reservations should be arranged with Seminário de Vilar directly by email (please mention reservation no. 1401784/FCUP). Please note that all available rooms have been booked so there are no more vacancies at Seminário de Vilar.
